Frequently Asked Questions

  • This work is for people who feel a disconnect between their inner world and their outward expression. Many clients are navigating a new role, life stage, or period of growth and want their appearance, presence, and environment to reflect that shift. My role is to help you see yourself more clearly, and to close the distance between who you are and how you're perceived.

  • Appearance is the entry point, but it's rarely the whole story. How you dress, how you move, how you speak, how you arrange your space, these are all expressions of something deeper. That's what my work is actually about.

When your outward image is in sync with how you feel about yourself internally, sometimes before you can even articulate it, something shifts. You feel whole, genuine, and grounded in a way that can't be influenced or persuaded by outside noise. That kind of confidence doesn't come from following the right rules or trends. It comes from alignment.

  • The Noticing Practice is a method of intentional observation - paying attention to recurring preferences, patterns, and responses across your style, environment, and daily life. Over time, these observations become a reliable foundation for the decisions you make about your image and presence.

The practice can be explored independently through the Noticing Guide, or taken further through my consulting work, where we move through it together.

  • Not knowing is often the starting point. Feeling disconnected doesn't mean there's nothing there, it usually means there’s a mismatch between your inner and outer world. Even when you feel unsure, there are always clues. My role is to notice what you might overlook and help bring everything into alignment.

  • Yes. Whether you're stepping into a new role, returning to work, navigating identity shifts after motherhood, or redefining yourself after a major life change. Transitions are often when this work matters most.

  • The spaces you live in are not separate from your image, they're part of the same portrait. Your environment reflects and reinforces your sense of self daily, often in ways you don't consciously notice.

When your surroundings feel aligned with who you are, it strengthens your presence from the inside out. This is why environment is woven into the most comprehensive tier of the work..

  • Whether you've already consulted with a colour analyst or used an online tool to find your season, knowing your colours is a great starting point. The Personal Palette goes further and examines not only the colours that flatter you in theory, but how you actually feel in them.

  • All sessions are conducted virtually. This makes the work accessible across Canada and the US.

  • The discovery call is a short conversation, a chance for us to get a sense of where you are, what you're navigating, and which service is the right fit. It's where we establish whether and how to work together.

All services require a discovery call before booking. You can request one at info@jessisinthedetails.com.

  • Each service has its own timeline depending on the depth of the work.

The Personal Palette is typically delivered within 5–7 business days of your submission. The Image Snapshot is a single session with a written delivery to follow within approximately two weeks. The Image Framework, the most comprehensive tier unfolds across two sessions with full delivery completed within approximately three weeks.

All timelines begin after the discovery call and intake process are complete. If you have a specific deadline or context worth knowing about, mention it when you reach out, that's what the discovery call is for.
